Emma’s Art Studio is available for private events for all ages. While our most popular events are birthday parties for kids with a guided art activity, we are happy to host other gatherings as well! Birthday Parties at Emma’s Art Studio

Celebrate your child’s special day with a creative, joy-filled art party at Emma’s Art Studio! Each 1-hour art session features engaging instruction from one of our experienced art educators, high-quality materials, and a personalized project designed around your party theme. Every child will create a beautiful take-home artwork, and make a small keepsake for the birthday child.

Parties hosted at the studio include use of the space for an additional 30 min, allowing for cake, food, games, etc. after the main art activity – making your party 90-minutes in total.

Pricing: $675 for up to 24 children

Recommended Ages 6 & Up

Mini House Makers: Step into the world of imagination as you design and decorate your very own miniature house! Using paint and mixed-media details, each child will create a charming tiny home complete with unique decorations and personality…and a small yard! Young artists will select an animal figurine to live in the house and take home a one-of-a-kind creation to cherish forever. (Recommended Ages 5-10)
Animal Treasure Boxes: Create a tiny treasure chest with a miniature friend inside! Party guests will sculpt their own miniature animal figure from air-dry clay, adding personality and tiny details. Then, each artist will decorate a small treasure box to create the perfect little home for their animal. Kids can paint, collage, and embellish their boxes before tucking their handmade animal inside. At the end of the party, everyone takes home their own miniature sculpture and decorated keepsake box. (Ages 6-9)
Jewelry Making: Enter your jewelry-making era with beads, colors, and creativity! Each guest will have a blast creating their own unique bracelets using a variety of materials, including Heishi beads, letter beads, and paracord weaving. With expert guidance, everyone will craft multiple stunning accessories to take home and cherish. (Recommended Ages 8-12)
Comics with Emma: After sculpting some character inspirations, guests will start their very own comic books! Guided and encouraged along the way, artists will create vibrant and expressive covers and then begin their first page or two of story panels in their unique comic cook. After having fun drawing and coloring, everyone takes home a spiral bound book with protective plastic covers and extra pages to keep creating past the party. (Recommended Ages 8-12)
Guided Painting: Let your imagination run wild with our guided canvas painting party! Under Miss Emma’s expert tutelage, budding artists will create vibrant and dynamic tempera paint marvels on canvas. Explore color, shape, and line as you unleash your creativity and produce one-of-a-kind masterpieces to adorn your walls. (Recommended Ages 10-15)
Printmaking Masters: Learn a new art technique with Emma’s Art Studio. In this unique party, you will learn all of the steps of block printing, from carving to rolling on ink! Each artist will take home a rubber printing block and several signed and numbered high-quality prints! (Recommended Ages 10-15)

Our art parties are 90-minutes, with setup and breakdown time before and after, and typically follow this schedule:

First 10–15 minutes: Guest arrival and creative warm-up with personalized sketchbooks, crayons, and stickers.
Next 45–60 minutes: Guided art activity led by an experienced art instructor. Children learn new techniques, explore materials, and create their own unique works of art.
Next 15–20 minutes: Happy Birthday song, cake, food, and celebration! Instructors help transition from artmaking to party time.
Final 5–10 minutes: Final sketchbook drawing, artwork distribution, party favors, and guest departure.

When you book a party, you will select which art activity you would like, and we need a final guest headcount no later than 10 days before the party, so that we can have adequate supplies ready.

Birthday Storytime & Artistic Play

Recommended Ages 5 & Under

Storytime & Collage Birthday Party: Celebrate your little artist’s special day with a joyful, hands-on birthday party designed just for our youngest creators! This playful celebration includes an engaging storybook read-aloud, followed by a collage art project where children explore color, shape, and texture using colorful papers, stickers, and mixed-media materials. Little artists can also enjoy sensory play, drawing, and open-ended creative exploration throughout the party!
Storytime & Mosaic Birthday Party: Celebrate your little artist’s special day with a joyful, hands-on birthday party designed just for our youngest creators! This playful celebration includes an engaging storybook read-aloud, followed by a mosaic art project where children arrange colorful tiles and materials into their own unique designs, creating a special keepsake to take home. Little artists can also enjoy sensory play, drawing, and open-ended creative exploration throughout the party!

Designed with young children’s attention spans and developmental needs in mind, this 90-minute party offers a playful, open-ended experience where little artists can explore and create at their own pace. Rather than following a rigid schedule, the celebration flows naturally between art activities, sensory play, and social time. Instructors can facilitate a pause for singing Happy Birthday and enjoying cake whenever it feels right for the group. This flexible format keeps the celebration fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for children ages 5 and under!
