Description:
Discover the joy of painting landscapes in this welcoming studio class designed for all levels. Students will explore techniques for color mixing, composition, and brushwork while working from photographs, sketches, or imagination. Participants may follow structured lessons or develop independent projects with individualized guidance from the instructor. This class emphasizes fine-art approaches and thoughtful process while supporting each artist’s personal style.

All materials are included. Ages 16+ welcome with instructor permission.

Description:
This relaxed, fine-arts–focused sculpture class is open to beginners through advanced students. Artists will create figure studies or busts while working from a live model, personal reference photos, sketches, or through guided, structured instruction. Students are encouraged to develop their own ideas while building foundational skills in form, proportion, and surface. Finished works may be fired.

  • Let go of perfection and lean into pure process. This month we’ll explore abstract paint scraping techniques using acrylic paint, palette knives, and unconventional tools to create layered, textured compositions on panel. The focus is on movement, color relationships, and tactile experimentation. No drawing skills required—just a willingness to play. Expect rich color, satisfying texture, and a surprisingly calming experience.

  • We’ll work small and playful with polymer clay. Participants will design and sculpt a set of modern, colorful magnets—think abstract shapes, tiny florals, graphic patterns, or miniature objects. We’ll explore color mixing, simple sculpting techniques, and surface details before baking pieces in-studio. It’s tactile, low-pressure, and quietly addictive. You’ll leave with a finished set ready for your fridge or gifting.

  • Slow stitching, quiet focus, good conversation. This month we’ll explore beginner-friendly cross stitch and needlepoint kits with modern, minimal designs. Learn foundational stitches, pattern reading, and finishing techniques in a cozy studio setting. Whether you’re brand new or revisiting a childhood hobby, this session is about rhythm, relaxation, and small, satisfying progress.

  • Sometimes you just need to make something with your hands and not overthink it. Therapeutic Crafting for Grown-Ups is a relaxed, low-stakes studio session where we try a different craft each month—no pressure, no perfection, just making. This time, we’ll design and silk-screen bold, graphic imagery onto canvas tote bags. Choose from pre-made designs or create your own simple motif, then pull your own prints using professional screens and fabric ink. Expect a satisfying process, inky hands, and a functional finished piece.
