Pop-Up Snow Day Open Studios: January 28 & 29
When school is closed and routines are thrown off, sometimes kids (and parents!) just need a change of scenery. This week, Miss Emma’s hosting two Pop-Up Snow Day Open Studios, offering a calm, creative place for kids to spend the day making art.
Pop-Up Snow Day Open Studio is a relaxed, low-pressure studio experience designed for students who are home from school and ready to create. Each day begins with one simple, guided art project to help everyone settle in and feel inspired. From there, students have plenty of time for open-ended, unstructured artistic exploration, experimenting with a variety of studio materials and following their own ideas with gentle guidance.
This format is especially well-suited for kids who thrive with a balance of structure and freedom. There’s no rush, no pressure to “finish,” and plenty of room for curiosity, creativity, and play.
It’s a great option for families looking for a screen-free, creative way for kids to spend a snow day in a warm, welcoming studio environment.
